Our names are Kirby and Mariya Vandivort and we bought our FloridaBeachSunset vacation home while we were living amongst the cornfields of east central Illinois for times when we got a chance to escape to Florida. (We have since decided that we like Florida so much that we moved to the beautiful state)

Mariya was and is a successful Realtor/Broker in the Champaign/Urbana, Illinois area (her company's website is at www.AroundCU.com and she still manages from afar), and Kirby is also involved in real estate. His company purchases and manages large real estate projects in markets around the United States and he is always looking for investors wanting to passively invest in real estate. We both like going on vacation, but we don't get to go nearly as often as we would like due to our jobs and other obligations. Mariya is also a licensed real estate broker in Florida.

There are many things that we love about Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Because it is in the southern part of Florida it is warm enough to enjoy in the winter (unlike places farther north). And, because it is right on the water, it has a cool breeze during the summer (and it doesn't even get as hot as it does in central Illinois!). It can truly be enjoyed year around.

As we were looking at different vacation homes (we looked at a lot) we absolutely fell in love with this particular home. The view from it truly is "Million Dollar". Every single guest that we have reminds us that the views are spectacular. We didn't think that we would ever be able to enjoy a view like this, and we want you to be able to enjoy it also!
